“Collaboration”: Edition 7
"The Our Town Everywhere project helps us notice the commonalities we all share as well as the components that make us unique. As public libraries create endless opportunities for belonging, connection and resource-sharing, this project allowed us the tools and space to visually express the story of who we are and how artists, along with city residents, are steadfastly in community with one another."
—Team Bubbler
Collaboration was the theme of The Little Book Project’s seventh edition, released in November 2023. The ‘zine was produced in partnership with The Bubbler at Madison Public Library. Together, we captured a snapshot into the multifaceted collaboration happening throughout the Our Town Everywhere (OTE) project (2022-24). This special edition of LBP features a team of artists and community members from all corners of Madison who participated in the creation and collection of self portraits made using a variety of mediums.
While the small run was mainly distributed to artists and partners connected to the Our Town Everywhere project, there is an accessible copy of it in the Local History Collection at Madison Public Library’s Central branch.
